Abstract:
Objective To establish a LC-MS/MS method for the determination of pseudoephedrine concentration in plasma, and to investigate the pharmacokinetics of sustained release tablets of cetirizine hydrochloride and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride in Chinese healthy volunteers. Methods The plasma concentrations of pseudoephedrine were determined by LC-MS/MS method in the volunteers at different time points. Amantadine hydrochloride was used as internal standard. After precipitation of the plasma proteins with acetonitrile, the analytes were separated on an agilent zorbax SB-C18 reversed-phase column with methanol -0.1% formic acid (40:60, v/v) and detected by electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry in positive multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode. The flow rate was 0.3 ml/min. Column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃. Results The calibration curves with good linearities (r=0.995 2 for plasma sample) were obtained in the range of 2.5~1 000.0 ng/ml for pseudoephedrine. The lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) was 2.5 ng/ml. Recoveries were around 78% for the extraction from human plasma, and good precision and accuracy were achieved. The intra-day and inter-day RSD were less than 15.0%. Conclution This method was simple, selective and sensitive. It's suitable for the pharmacokinetic research of pseudoephedrine in human plasma.

Abstract:
Objective To study the antifungal activity of triazole alcohols which introduce isopropyl as side chain. Methods By introduction of 4-carboxylic ester substituted benzyl group as side chain, a series of title compounds were synthesized. All of them were confirmed by MS, 1H-NMR, et al. The antifungal activities were also evaluated against eight tested pathogenic fungi. Results Fourteen title compounds were synthesized. All title compounds exhibited activity against tested fungi to some extent. Compounds (1) and (2) exhibited stronger antifungal activities against eight fungi except Aspergillus fumigatus than the control drug of itraconazole. Conclusions The introduction of 4-carboxylic ester substituted benzyl group as side chain was beneficial to improve their antifungal activity. The shorter in the side chain , the better of the antifungal activity.

Abstract:
Objective To study the protective effect of Shugananlening extract on acute alcoholic hepatic injury in mice. Methods The model of hepatic injury was prepared by intragastric infusion of alcohol, the change of alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST) in serum and liver superoxide dismutase (SOD), malondialdehyde (MDA) and triglyceride (TG) were observed. HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes in liver. Results The level of ALT, AST, TG and MDA were significantly reduced and the activity of SOD was enhanced by different doses of Shugananlening Extract. Furthermore, the pathological injury was also significantly abated by high-dose and middle-dose of Shugananlening Extract. Conclusion Shugananlening extract had a good protective effect on acute alcoholic hepatic injury in mice. The mechanisms probably contributed to the decrease of lipid peroxide and fatty sediment in liver.

Abstract(2888) PDF (838KB)(433)
Abstract:
Objective To investigate and analyze the distribution of chemical drugs registered by State Food and Drug Administration(SFDA) in 2009. Methods The data of registered chemical drugs in 2009 including names, approval numbers, medication classifications and whether it belongs to national essential drugs or not were collected from SFDA website. Statistical analysis was implemented by Excel. Results 1 583 chemical drugs were registered which involved 489 generic chemical drugs. The most registered drugs according approval numbers were antibacterial agents, central nervous system agents and digestive system agents in turn. Conclusion The situation of chemical drugs registration in 2009 was still unsatisfied. The distribution of registration categories couldn't meet the requirement of public. The same generic drug had too much approval numbers. The productions of Antibacterial agents were competitive. A new indication of small climax of essential drugs registration appears at the same time.

2011, 29(5): 384-386.
Abstract(2768) PDF (835KB)(411)
Abstract:
Objective To analyze the main factors affecting productivity of pharmacy, for providing a basis to improve pharmacy productivity. Method First, 61 hospital pharmacies were divided into four groups according to the numbers of beds. Then, annual per capita income from pharmaceuticals(APCIP) and annual income from pharmaceuticals per hundred beds(AIPPHB) were detected as output indicators, and the actual beds, staffs, the quantity of daily dispensing prescription, hospital grade, the proportion of pharmacy staffs with medium technical titles or above, etc. were detected as input indicators. Last, the above data and the indicators were analyzed with multiple linear regression method. Results and Conclusion There are differences in pharmacy productivities in different hospital sizes and grades. The pharmacy APCIP in hospitals less than 400 beds is 583,100 RMB, in hospitals between 400 and 599 beds is 1,048,700 RMB, in hospitals between 600 and 799 beds is 1,412,000 RMB, and in hospitals greater than 800 beds is 2,050,000 RMB. For hospitals with a relatively small number of beds, increasing the quantity of daily dispensing prescription or reducing the amount of staffs can improve pharmacy productivities. For hospitals with a relatively large number of beds, increasing the proportion of pharmacy staffs with medium technical titles or above, or the proportion of pharmacy staffs with bachelor degree or above can improve pharmacy productivities.

Abstract:
Pharmacology was the branch of basic medicine and clinical practice, or the branch of medicine and pharmacy, concerned with the study of drug action. The knowledge of pharmacology was difficult to understand or remember clearly because of its complication. To help students improve understanding and memory, tutors were recommended to use techniques of psychology, including summary, imagination, comparison, deduction, association, and so on.
