Determination of the content of baicalin in Qiguanyan granules by HPLC

Abstract: Objective To establish a method of HPLC for the determination of baicalin in Qiguanyan granules. Methods HPLC was performed on ZORBAX SB-C18(4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm) column with mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid (47:53) at ambient temperature.The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min.The detection wavelength was 280 nm. Results Baicalin showed a good linearity in the range of 6.63-210 μg/ml(r=0.999 8,n=6),and the average recovery was 98.16% (RSD=1.89%). Conclusion This methods was simple,accurate,sensitive,reproducible and reliable,which was suitable for the content control of Qiguanyan granules.
